This is probably one of the most expensive second hand dresses I've ever bought but still one of my favourites. It's a woolen 1970s dress from Oxfam (bought off their online shop, which I highly recommend) for about £70. It is a full length empire line dress with soft cream wool detail around the neckline. Unfortunately, when I bought the dress it had a few holes in the back of it but given its age (and clear desirability) I'm willing to forgive it, and as my friends will vouch, I've worn it to quite a few black tie events. It is also a little bit too short length wise but I don't care because it's gorgeous. I've also used it in a few shoots (one much colder than the other, as you can see) as it is so dramatically bold.
